Some problems to try on your own
1. Build a circuit with two LEDs and make them alternate blinking. (i.e. when one is off the other is on).
2. Build a circuit that changes the level of an LED based on a potentiometer.
3. Use the previous circuit, but this time add an LED to it and make the potentiometer control how fast it blinks.
4. Use a button and a relay to switch between two LEDs (feel free to make them blink or simply turn on).
5. Use a soft potentiometer and a speaker (from the inventor's kit) to create a circuit which can change the pitch of the sound.
